OA Welcomes the Class of 2012
Oldenburg Academy welcomes the class of 2012. With over 12 different middle schools represented, the freshmen class brings a wealth of talents and diversity to the OA campus. The freshmen class is currently at 54 students. Class of 2012 Freshmen Scholarship Awards Night On Thursday, April 10th, the Class of 2012 Freshmen Scholarships recipients will be awarded their scholarships at a special ceremony held in the school cafeteria at 6:30 pm. Save the Date – Class of 2012 Freshmen Picnic All incoming freshmen are invited to a Class of 2012 Picnic on Saturday, May 10th from 11 am to 1 pm. The picnic is a fun way to meet classmates while enjoying pizza and playing a few games. Not to mention, getting your official Class of 2012 OA t-shirt! More details about the picnic will be sent to you at home – save the date for now! Algebra 1 Assessment Test All incoming freshmen who have completed Algebra 1 in the 8th grade and are planning to take Geometry in the fall will need to take the Algebra 1 Assessment test at Oldenburg Academy on Saturday, May 10th from 9 am to 11 am. This test will be administered prior to the Freshmen Class Picnic in classrooms on the first floor of the school building. It’s Not Too Late Any 8th grade student or current high school student interested in learning more about Oldenburg Academy and the process of enrolling for the fall of 2008 should contact Mrs. Hunger in the admissions office at 812-934-4440 ext 231 or via email at Hunger@oldenburgacademy.org. |
