Welcome to the Department of Guidance at Oldenburg Academy!

The Mission of this Department is:

To prayerfully continue to develop and maintain a Department of Guidance which supports students in their achievement of academic excellence, social responsibility, leadership, and personal growth.

The Overall Goal of this Department is:

Prayerfully present the values of the Sisters of St. Francis through thought, action, and character in all departmental and interdepartmental
affairs.

Through the practice of conscious planning, Oldenburg Academy students will graduate having met their core-essential (and beyond) courses, having taken the required standardized tests, as well as having met the additional expectations Oldenburg Academy has in place for graduates.

Through the adherence of Franciscan values, students of Oldenburg Academy will mature as a result of corporate and individual prayer, commitment to the dignity of each person, peaceful and reconciled relationships, and
conscious care of God's creation.

Through leadership opportunities, such as academic excellence, participation in extra-curricular activities, personal pursuits, and friendships developed here at Oldenburg Academy, students will grow and bloom and reach for their God-given and ever-expansive potential.

With regard to the above written, the honor of being a participant within the Oldenburg Academy community is high. Our door is open, as is our phone line and First Class Inbox. Intend to be in touch and we will share this blessed opportunity together!
