Oldenburg Academy Board Members
Brad Dickey
Brad is the father of OA students Claire '14 and Ian '18.
"As a parent of a current Twister, I have witnessed first-hand the incredible sense of community that a child experiences at OA. My child has grown spiritually and academically as a direct result of the leadership and guidance of the OA staff. The value of an OA education is truly seen in the unlimited experiences that a child can gain. I am proud to offer my support to such a well established and respected Catholic educational institution."
Sr. Jeri Fuhrmann, OSF ’67
Sr. Jeri is Director of Liturgical Music Sisters of Notre Dame.
Deb Grieshop '84
Deb is the Director of Sales Operations for the Morel Company, located in Batesville, IN and serves as the Board Treasurer. She is mother to OA students Megan ‘09, Bailey ’12, Margaret (Mara) ’15 and Jon ’21.
"My connections to OA run deep and wide. My children, mother, sister, and mother-in-law along with various aunts, cousins, and now nieces and nephews have all had the opportunity to experience OA either in the past or present day. I first started my career with a private secondary education that was very expensive, and I would help parents understand the cost and figure out how they were going to afford this next step in their child’s life. As they struggled to make the decision, the best words and guidance I could offer them was “There is no greater investment than the education of your child.” I used that phrase on a daily basis and I believe it to my core. I am on the Oldenburg Academy board because I have seen how the investment has paid off and want to see it continue and grow for generations to come."
Angie Kuntz Harmeyer ’86
Angie is Executive Director Batesville YMCA.
Tom Horninger
Tom is the President for FCN Bank. He is married to Mary, a 1979 OA Alumni, and has 4 children that are OA Alumni.
"A quality education is just part of preparing your children for the future. The Academy prepares them morally and spiritually for life's challenges. I have been blessed to serve on OA's board and give a little back to a school that has given so much to my family."
Bob Hurm
Bob is an anesthesiologist at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, IN. He is father to OA students Matthew '15, Nathan '17 and Hanna '19.
"I received my education through Catholic schools (specifically the Franciscan System) and am a strong proponent of the foundation this education provides for the well being of a child. Oldenburg Academy continues this tradition and I am pleased to lend my support to its advancement of the strong traditional values a Catholic education provides to
an individual."
Diana Kinker
Diana is mother to OA students Trevor '11 and Josh '14.
"I believe in the value of Catholic education and the importance of having strong educational options available to our local community. I am happy to serve on the OA board as we strive to continue to advance the school for ongoing, long-term success."
Sr. Barb Leonhard, OSF ’67
Sr. Barb is on Sisters of St Francis Leadership Council.
Doris Hirt McKee '70
Doris is retired and is a 1970 OA Alumni.
"I'm an alum and believe that my four years there were absolutely instrumental in my becoming the person I am. I think high school years are critical to development of responsible, industrious adults and OA does a great job of developing quality graduates who graduate and attend great colleges and contribute to society in a positive way."
Sr. Delouise Menges, OSF ’67
Sr. Delouise is on Sisters of St Francis Leadership Council.
Keith Moenter

His family established the Moenter Music Scholarship at OA in 2001 to honor their parents' music ministries. Keith has worked in the manufacturing sector for many years and is the HR leader at Delta Faucet in Greensburg, IN and serves as the Board Vice Chair.
OA has been an outstanding Catholic High School for 162 years and is committed to academic excellence, social responsibility, leadership and personal growth for its students. I want to be an advocate for the school to keep this rich legacy alive and to promote the values of St. Francis and OA's Patroness, The Blessed Mother. I'm honored to be a part of helping to lead the school in it's mission.
Sr. Barbara Piller OSF
I taught at the Academy in 1961-63 as a Novice of the Sisters of St. Francis. Serving on the Board from 1994-2000 allowed me to be part of the transition to a co-educational institution and the change of name from Immaculate Conception Academy to Oldenburg Academy of the Immaculate Conception. I have been part of the Adopt-a-Sis program for 15 years. I appreciate the quality education and values that our students receive and take with them as graduates.
