Tips and Tricks in iMovie - Faith Sullivan
iMovie can be a powerful video making tool and it comes with everyone’s Macbook. Learn how to use iMovie from the basics up through advanced techniques from Junior Faith Sullivan.


Digital Poster Making - Mr. McFee
Paper posters are outdated and rarely real-world relevant. Mr. McFee will show you tools and techniques for creating digital posters that are professional and powerful.


Presentation Skills - Amy Streator / Mr. Maple
No matter what you plan to do, everyone needs solid presentation skills. Ripley County Community Foundation Executive Director Amy Streator will demonstrate ways to use your Macbook in your presentations and what skills you need to really wow your audience.


Advanced Google Docs - Mrs. Gehring
Think you know Google Docs? Mrs. Gehring will show you tools in Google Docs you might have known were even there. Be more productive with Google Docs by using the skills learned in this session.


Mac Basics - Mr. Hensley
If you’ve never touched a Mac before, or don’t feel confident in your skills to use your new Macbook, this is the session for you. Mr. Hensley will demonstrate basic Mac functions and help you navigate your computer with ease.


Advanced Mac Skills - Mr. Hensley
Be a whiz with your Mac with skills learned in this session. Mr. Hensley will take you beyond the basic operations and show you some of the more unique tools that Mac offers.


Google Apps Basics - Mr. Hensley
If you’re not familiar with Google Apps, or are still confused by them even though you may have been using them for years, Mr. Hensley will walk you through the core Apps in Google Apps for Education and help you learn their basic functions as well as how they are all tied together.


Advanced Google Slides - Mr. Cockrum
Have you used Google Slides, but wondered what all the fuss is about? Have you seen awesome Google Slides presentations and wondered how they did that? Mr. Cockrum will demonstrate many tools and techniques to use Google Slides for more than just presentations. Learn how to create animations, animated GIFs, interactives slides, videos slides, and more.


Internet Security - Stephanie Nancarrow
Do you use social media but are wondering if you are using it safely? This session will cover techniques and tools to keep you safe and respectable in your online communication and social media.


Apple - Apple Guy
Go meet some guy from Apple. He will tell you about some cool things Apple is doing with Macbooks.


College Panel - All Juniors led by Mrs. Geis
Representative from the University of Cincinnati, Marian University, Ball State, and Mt. St. Joe will give you tips on what to expect as you prepare for college and answer any questions you may have about college.


Internships - All Seniors led by Mr. Maple
This is for all seniors to learn about the expectations from the internships.


Test Prep - All Sophomores led by Mrs. Gehring


Technology Orientation - All Freshman led by Mr. Cockrum
This session is to help familiarize the freshman with basic technology tools used at OA. We’ll cover PowerSchool, Google Drive & Gmail, Google Classroom, accessing the Wifi, taking care of your Macbook, and more.
