- 2 students and principal selected to go on Franciscan Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi with Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati – September
- Haiti Mission – collected personal care and tennis shoes for drive
- APSUH collected items and money for residents of Gatlinburg following fires in Smokey Mts
- Champions Together – in partnership with Indiana High School Athletic Association and the Special Olympics, OA Student, Lexi Brown, created a program for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate in a unified softball game with high school student athletics.
- SMASH Cancer – Girls Tennis Team raised
- OA united with the Rural Alliance for the Arts and the Joan and John W. Hillenbrand Vision Fund to create an 8 ft. by 28 ft. long mural located the Village Store in Oldenburg
- Class of 2017 provided 5160 hours of service and volunteer hours (service – 1996 hrs. and volunteer 3164)
- 18 seniors earned Centennial Service Award for 100 or more hours of service
- 2 students runners in the Indiana Bicentennial Torch – Curt Eckstein (Oldenburg) and Justine Stenger (Aurora)
- Pumpkin Show Queen (Hayleigh Reed) and 1st runner up male (Clay Hunger)
